Our Heavenly Father's Name Is Not God
And His Only Begotten Son's Name
Is Not Jesus
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
Proverbs 30:4
Proverbs 30:4
Psa 68:4 Sing unto Elohim, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Yah*, and rejoice before him.
Psa 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psa 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psa 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

Even though I had read Psalms and Proverbs many times, I don't remember ever giving much thought about God having a different name, simply assuming that "God" was his name. Until we finally acquired a computer and internet access, that is and left the church and Christianity behind.
While searching out other Sabbath keepers, I came across the "Mission To Israel" site and to my amazement learned He does have a special name, and it isn't God. Listed below are a few of the many scriptures that speak to the truth of the matter. |
In the front of my King James Bible, "The Open Bible, Expanded Version", it reads under "Explanation Of Format";
The covenant name of God in the old testament, represented by the Hebrew consonants YHWH, is translated "LORD" or "GOD" (using capital letters as shown), as it has been throughout the history of the King James Bible.

Psa 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Yah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Exo 3:13 And Moses said unto God (Yah), Beold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? Exo 3:14 And Elohim said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Jer 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. Jer 23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Jer 23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal. Jah* H3050 יהּ yâhh yaw Contracted for H3068, and meaning the same; Yahh, the sacred name: - Yahh, the Lord, most vehement. Cp. names in “-iah,” “-jah.” (see note below) H1961 I Am הָיָה hâyâh haw-yaw' A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use. Total KJV occurrences: 3502 In the Son's words: John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. John 17:11 John 17:12 The word Hallelujah means, Praise Ye Yahh. So whenever anyone speaks the word Hallelujah, they have spoken the name of and given praise to Almighty Yah. As prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 The Hebrew name of the only begotten Son of Yah, is Immanuel, meaning God with us. Why his name cannot be Jesus and the letter J! (To come) |

After Coming Out of Christianity where we of course knew the Savior as Jesus and Christ, we found that some call him Yahshua and some call him Yeshua and yet others call him by other Hebrew names.
After I did researching, we adapted to the name Yahshua, determining so because the Father's name is Yahh (Strong's #H3050). and Yahshua means Yahh is Salvation.
However, recently Clarence came under a sense of conviction that we should be calling the true Messiah, Immanuel as that is his prophesied name.
