Seventh Day Or First Day ?

On which day does our heavenly Father and Creator
command us to rest and worship?

The Seventh Day Sabbath

From The Beginning:

Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day
Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Gen 2:3  And
Elohim blessed the seventh day, and *sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim created and made.

Remember
the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, is the fourth commandment in Yah's holy law,
(The 10 commandments)

The seventh day  is Yah's holy day.
His people are to keep it holy.  To rest from our daily labors, and focus on our mighty God in worship and meditation of his works and
his ways.

Exo_20:8  Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exo_20:10  But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Exo_20:11  For in six days the Elohim made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Yahh *blessed the sabbath day, and *hallowed it.

Exo_31:14  Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Exo_31:15  Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to Yahh: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Exo_31:16  Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a
*perpetual covenant.

Lev_23:3  Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

Deu_5:12  *Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Yahweh thy God hath commanded thee.

Neh_9:14  And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:

Neh_13:17  Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and *profane the sabbath day?

Isa_56:2  Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from *polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Isa_56:6  Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

Isa_58:13  If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of  Yahh, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Jer_17:21  Thus saith Yahh; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

Jer_17:22  Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

Jer_17:24  And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith Yahh, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;

Jer_17:27  But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

The New Covenant:

Mat_12:8
For the Son of man is *Lord even of the sabbath day.

Mat_12:10  And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

Mat_12:11  And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

Mat_12:12  How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Mark_2:27  And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Mark_2:28  Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Mark_3:4  And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

Luke_13:14  And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Immanuel had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

Luke_13:15  The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

Luke_13:16  And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Luke_14:5  And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

Acts_13:42  And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Acs_13:44  And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of Yahh(God).

Acts_16:13  And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

Acts_17:2  And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Acts_18:4  And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Col_2:16  Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

In The Future
Mat_24:20  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Isa_66:23  And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

We have discovered from  constant research, that  the seventh day of the week on the  Gregorian  calendar  used  by the majority of Sabbath  keepers and the  day we were keeping ,  is not  our Creator's seventh day.

Which Day Is The Seventh Day?

Sunday The First Day

So how is it that the Christians began worshiping on the first day (by Gregorian calendar) of the week instead of the seventh day as Yahh commanded ?

The true believers of Immanuel never kept Sunday, the first day of the week as their holy day, the followers of "The Way" continued to keep the seventh day holy.

As Immanuel warned, and Paul and Peter also, false teachers and false prophets crept into the congregations, and perverted and corrupted the teachings of the Savior and the true apostles.  Dividing the assemblies with heresies.
Building the foundations of what would become the Catholic (Universal) counterfeit church.
Mat_24:11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall *deceive many.

Mat_24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

2Pe 2:1  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable *heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2Pe 2:2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom "the way of truth" shall be evil spoken of.

2Pe 2:3  And through covetousness shall they with *feigned words make merchandise of you:  whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

1Jn_4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
*Deceive
Strong's #G4105
πλανάω
planaō
plan-ah'-o
From G4106; to (properly cause to) roam (from safety, truth, or virtue): - go astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way.
*Heresies
Strong's  #G139
αἵρεσις
hairesis
hah'ee-res-is
From G138; properly a choice, that is, (specifically) a party or (abstractly) disunion. (“heresy” is the Greek word itself.): - heresy [which is the Greekord itself], sect.
Feigned
Strong's #G4112
πλαστός
plastos
plas-tos'
From G4111; moulded, that is, (by implication) artificial or (figuratively) fictitious (false): - feigned.
Sunday, The Venerable Day Of The Sun
Naming Sunday - Sun’s Day

The English word Sunday is derived from Old English.

  • and Middle English – Sone(n)day or Sun(nen)day
  • Latin – dies solis– “Day of the sun”
  • Old English – Sunnandæg– “day of the sun”
  • Old Norse – Sunnundagr
  • Ancient Greek – hemera heli(o)u– “day of the sun”
  • timeanddate.com
"What would you think if I told you that sun worship is directly linked with the worship of Satan? Would this be significant? And what if this sun worship also affected the true worship of the True God? Yahh does in fact have a day of worship and Satan has a counterfeit day of worship and this day is the “Day of the Sun.”
        by: marcusmaxis

"It was after the great flood of Noah that Nimrod and Semiramis founded the great pagan religions. From its beginning at the tower of Babel, sun worship spread throughout the entire ancient world. This is idolatry at its worst that Yahh detests. What was the driving force behind this?"
                                            by: marcusmaxis
"In Roman culture, Sunday was the day of the Sun god. It was adopted by Christians who did not have a Jewish background. In paganism, the sun was a source of life, giving warmth and illumination to mankind. It was the center of a popular cult among Romans, who would stand at dawn to catch the first rays of sunshine as they prayed. The celebration of the winter solstice (which influenced Christmas) was part of the Roman cult of the sun. Christian churches were built with an orientation so that the congregation faced toward the sunrise in the East"
